Sales Policy

Please read these terms before placing a deposit. Reserving one of our rabbits means you agree to all the terms below.

Deposits & Holds

A non-refundable deposit of $80 holds your rabbit, and that amount applies toward the total cost of the rabbit. Your deposit reserves one specific animal. It cannot be moved to a different rabbit. If you change your mind after placing a deposit, the deposit is forfeited.

We take great care, but sometimes things happen, for example if a young one passes away. In that case we will send a refund or apply the deposit amount toward another available kit, whichever you prefer.

To reserve, message us with your name, your phone number, and the rabbit you want. A signed copy of this policy is due at the time the deposit is placed.

Payment

Deposits and final payments can be made through Venmo (@EmmaMMcpherson), Zelle (QR code can be found on downloadable PDF below), or Cash App ($EmmaMMcpherson). Please note the “extra” M between Emma and McPherson is not a typo. We also accept the remaining balance in cash at pickup.

Please note that any purchases made through our online (woo-commerce) store are non-refundable. So don’t check out unless you are sure that’s the bunny for you.

If you pay by PayPal, choose Friends & Family. On Venmo, leave the “purchase” toggle off. Either way, if a payment comes through with fees attached, we’ll send it back and you’ll cover the difference.

Rabbits leaving on transport must be paid in full a minimum of 72 hours before the transport pickup date.

Reservation Order

Available rabbits are posted first on our Facebook page and here on our website. We work through reservations in the order messages arrive, and a deposit with signed terms takes priority. So if you really want that sweet baby and don’t want someone else to get them, send your deposit and a signed copy of our terms as soon as you can.

Health

We never knowingly send home a sick animal. Your rabbit will go home with transition food so the switch to your home goes as smoothly as possible, and you can find care tips throughout our website. We guarantee your rabbit’s health for 72 hours after pickup against any inherited issue we may have missed. After that window, we cannot be held responsible for any loss.

Returns & Rehoming

If you ever need to re-home your rabbit, we will take them back. We are not okay with the thought of one of our babies ending up in a shelter. Please understand that a returned rabbit does not come with a refund. This policy is here to protect our animals, and we are glad to be that safety net whenever one is needed.

Pickup & Transport

Pickups happen by appointment only. Once your rabbit is paid for, we set a pickup day together. If you cannot make the day we agreed on, a boarding fee of $25 per rabbit will apply, even if pickup is just one day late.

If you do not show up for pickup and we cannot reach you within 48 hours, the rabbit is considered forfeited and no refund is given. If you miss two pickup meetings in a row, your deposit and rabbit are considered forfeited. We do understand that sometimes life just happens, so if you have extenuating circumstances, message us. Some of these policies may be relaxed at our discretion.

Ground transport must be arranged and paid for by the buyer. As noted above, no rabbit will be sent on transport until it has been paid for in full.

If you choose air transport, you must pay the full amount owed for air transport and your full deposit amount before I can book your rabbits flight. The remainder Flights book out two weeks in advance and are non-refundable. I will get your rabbit on the flight and it is your responsibility to make arrangements to pick the rabbit up at the airport.

The remaining amount for your rabbit is due 72 hours before your rabbits flight departure time.

Please note that rabbits will not be placed on a flight until payment has been received in full. Buyers are responsible for ensuring that all balances are paid prior to the scheduled flight date. We cannot be held responsible for any flight-related costs, fees, or delays that occur due to an outstanding balance preventing your rabbit from traveling as scheduled.

Pedigree

A full pedigree comes with your rabbit at pickup, or tucked into the transition feed bag for transport. Please keep it safe, as we are not able to reissue copies. You are welcome to use your own barn name for your rabbit, though the pedigree itself cannot be altered.
